Wellbeing
Our lives in the modern world are often busy to the point of overwhelm, and for many people, their education and early experiences did not succeed in giving them the tools and support needed to ensure their wellbeing. Luckily, there are a host of tools that we can use to empower our own journey to positive mental and physical wellbeing, and improve our connections with those around us.
My wellbeing sessions focus on helping clients reduce stress and anxiety, process difficult emotions, build positive habits, and create life balance, direction, and sense of purpose. In addition, where required I can help you to improve your communication skills, and improve your connection with those around you. I also help clients process and move forward with difficult life events, whether past or present.
My aim is to tailor the each session to the individual client's needs; the frameworks I draw on to do this include ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), Mindfulness, CBT, Positive Psychology, Emotional Processing, and holistic models such as Te Whare Tapa Wha.

Relationship
My relationships sessions are for both couples and individuals. My areas of experience are conflict resolution, breaking 'stuck'/repetitive cycles of behaviour, expressing needs and boundaries more clearly and effectively, and establishing deeper, more meaningful and intimate relationships with partners (or prospective partners). I have a keen awareness of how painful past events (whether with previous partners or family) can impact on our current relationships (or our ability to form them), and I can work gently and compassionately with you to help examine and overcome these underlying issues.

Previously, I have worked as a Mindful Parenting Coach and Workshop Facilitator with Renew your Mind, so I can also support your parenting/co-parenting (whether in a nuclear or blended family) relationship.

More and more, modern research has shown that having strong, supportive connections to others is one of the biggest keys to our wellbeing and health, (as we are 'hardwired' to be social beings). Yet again, many of us did not have good role models that showed us how to sustain healthy supportive relationships, leading to a sense of loneliness and isolation; however it doesn't have to be this way!

The techniques that I use are drawn from Gottman style therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Mindful & Conscious Relationships & Parenting, and Non-violent Communication.

Change
Being stuck in habits, addictions, and cycles that don't serve us can be frustrating and disempowering, not to mention bad for both our mental and physical health. Whether the problem is overwork, lack of exercise, social media fixation, unhealthy consumption habits, procrastination or simply feeling stuck in a rut, it is my firm belief that everyone everywhere, (from the exhausted solo parent to the stressed CEO) with the right support can make changes that will make their lives better.
My work on change helps clients to identify their core values, and use these as a compass and motivation to create new, workable habits, and work towards creating a rich, full, meaningful and balanced life - whatever that looks like to them personally.
The core modalities I use to help clients make the shifts they desire in their lives are Mindfulness, (including Mindful Leadership) Transformative Coaching, Values work and Positive Psychology.
